Combining wealth preservation with capital growth The CF Arch cru Portfolio funds adopt a multi-asset approach, majoring on investments that complement each other. Through detailed examination of performance history and underlying rates ofreturn, we select a judicious blend of differing investment areas that, over the medium to long term, aims to deliver consistent positive returns ahead of cash deposits. Please note that with a cash deposit your capital is guaranteed whereas your capital is at risk if you invest with us. The CF Arch cru Portfolio funds invest in the following areas, emphasising the very diverse nature of our investment approach: equity income, private equity, private finance, property and sustainability investments (such as those related to energy, food and water). For each investment area we establish our view of the rate of future return and the likely performance under a variety of economic and market scenarios. These return forecasts are then combined with ideal weightings within our funds, providing us with a return forecast for all of our funds. Please note that these forecasts are not guaranteed and the actual returns could be higher or lower. Our investment approach emphasises asset return characteristics that blend well together, particularly during downturns in traditional asset classes, such as fixed interest, property and stock markets. However, this may also result in periods when our funds underperform on a relative basis, particularly when stock markets perform strongly.
